We Got Married!
Andy and I got married this past Sunday, June 5th about an hour outside of Atlanta! Our families and friends came in from all over the country to celebrate with us on a swelteringly hot, sunny day. It was lots of fun but, like everyone warned me, it was all over way too quickly.
Many thanks to my parents and Andy’s parents for everything they did for our wedding, it was wonderful!
I don’t have any pictures from the wedding yet, so this picture of our yummy cake, which was taken by Andy’s Aunt Donna, is the best I could do for now.
If you would like read about how Andy and I met and how much our lives were changed by a random tweet, here are some links to posts about our story:
Andy and I are off to Vancouver this weekend for TBEX, which is a travel blogging conference, as our joke honeymoon. Although it is quite fitting considering how we met. Rest assured, we will be taking a real honeymoon next spring to Turkey.
Update: Check out the wedding photos here!

Belated congrats! I’ve reached the age where armchair travelling occurs more frequently. However, I still keenly follow many youthful travellers. Greetings from Thailand, where I made my home after quitting the UK six years ago.
